Valorant:
Guns
9 articles
Valorant is a 5v5 tactical shooter where teams play until a side has won 13 rounds.
At the beginning of each round, players are able to buy guns for their agents using the credits that are available to them.
Unlike other shooters, the same guns are available to both the attacking and defending teams.
There are currently seventeen total guns in Valorant. There are five sidearms, two SMGs, two shotguns, four rifles, two snipers, and two heavy machine guns.
Sidearms are the cheapest options for early game and eco rounds, offering a wide range of possibilities from a sawed-off shotgun to a silenced pistol.
SMGs offer high rate of fire that excel in short to midrange combat.
Shotguns are of course, the go-to weapons for fighting in close quarters.
Rifles are the bread-and-butter standard weapons that offer the most versatility.
Snipers dominate long-distance engagements and reward precision with one shot kills.
Heavy machine guns have large magazines for sustaining fire and are among the best for shooting through walls.
